Hiring for new modern Korean restaurant! FOH/BOH (sunset / parkside)
Los Angeles’s well known chef/restauranteur Chris Oh of (Seoul Sauasge Co./ Chingu Hawaii/ Kpop Foods Inc.) is looking for motivated, creative and passionate staff for new modern Korean restaurant!
Looking for both FOH & BOH staff:
chef de cuisine
line/ prep cooks
•Oversee the day-to-day culinary operations and activities including, preparation, production, development and execution of recipes
•Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
•Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
•Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction.
•1-4 years of experience in a kitchen
•Dedication to excellent food quality and ensuring compliance with all health and safety, and safe food handling practices
•Passion for food; should be bright, seasonal, and ingredients driven
•Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
•Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion
•Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
•A flexible schedule. Mornings, nights, weekends and holidays are required.
GM Qualifications and Skills:
-At least 2 years experience in a management capacity
-Ability to manage supporting Management Staff, FOH staff & BOH staff.
-Excellent communication skills and a mature, professional demeanor.
-Resourceful, result oriented, self-starter, with strong work ethic and job commitment.
-Skilled in scheduling, customer service, problem solving, cash handling, bar cost controls, inventory.
