Pastry Chef for Tasting Menu Restaurant
A high-end Asian Fusion restaurant group in Beverly Hills, CA is opening an ambitious multi-course tasting menu concept this Fall. The group is looking for a deeply passionate Pastry Chef to join their opening team.

Job Description
-The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for overseeing the pastry menu and designing a program that is representative of the restaurants Asian cultural identity.
-Encourage a positive and constructive work environment
-Train and manage pastry cook (if relevant)
-Manage pastry ingredient and tools inventory and order when necessary
-Create and prepare entire dessert, pastry, mignardise and baked good items
Manage ordering, handling and preparation of entire pastry and baked goods
-Write all food product purchasing specifications for dessert and bread programs
-Create and improve pastry cooking procedures
-Standardize pastry program recipes for company use
-Ensure pastry program is in-line with unit budget
-Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Job Requirements
-Pastry Certificate with 2 years minimum experience as a pastry cook or pastry chef
-Proven ability in pastry concept and design
-Open availability
-Hard-working, dynamic, team player
